Website Structure

Website structure refers to the page layout of a website and how the pages interlink with each other.

The pages interlink with each other via buttons.

The use of buttons to 'lead' a browser through a website may be worth considering.

It is fairly normal to provide a link back the the home (index) page on all pages of a website.

Broadly speaking, a website structure will consist of a number of 'integral' pages (containing buttons linking to each other) and 'offshoot' pages , which only appear on specific 'integral' pages and which tend to provide more information on that specific 'integral' page.

Offshoot pages only accessible from a relevant page can be added by means of an additional button appearing on the page ,
or by provding a text link such as this, to provide further information.
